Winner of the Sovereign European Painting Prize 2006, Gunn uses an experimental, innovative technique using traditional gesso in a contemporary way to engineer fissured surfaces that evolve during the drying process.Each painting is unique and the organic nature of the free-form cracking creates an unusual tension between the geometric, spatially divided canvases.
