Biografia
I'm a UK born artist and moved to Australia when I was ten. I spent my formative years on the far north coast of NSW. After completing a BFA at The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, I've been exhibiting group and solo shows as well as working on my own projects in fashion. My practice sees a wide range of mediums, however, familiarises with video, textiles and sculptural installations. Often organic in nature, (underwear felted from their dog’s fur), my work employs these mixed-media textile and sculptural installations to explore themes surrounding sentimentality through a whimsical nature, evoking a tactile sensibility about them. My installations are often conceived via cathartic measures negotiating perceptions of grief, death, identity and nostalgia. I have moved to Berlin to continue my art for the next year.
