Biografia
My artwork is an exploration of altered human sensory perception and a disrupted sense of time. I am interested in how an altered state of being can impact the mechanisms of an individual’s brain and body. My work is connected to my current experience with chronic fatigue syndrome and my interest in understanding the psychological and neurological mechanisms behind the processes that underlie perception.
My work centers on a sense of movement and pattern. I use layers of light and colour to evoke distorted environments and provoke the audience to think about the relationship between their own senses and their surroundings. I have just completed a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins.
