Photographer, Visual Artist and Designer from Mexico.
My work deals with the shift between divided attention and complete intimacy. Like within a relationship, my process begins accompanied by a wave of emotions and actions that ends abruptly and finally reveals what actually happened. Only distance and context can determine what things mean.
I have a particular interest for the reflective and tactile qualities found in materials such as acrylic, aluminium, wood and silver. Reflections work as a reaction to what's in front. It acknowledges it and gives it its importance while texture acts a generator of ambiance. It sets the tone and direction of the interaction.
What intrigues me most both of my process and the mediums I chose is the possibility of encountering perpetuity in moments that would otherwise be lost.
