Biografia
In my work I look at the incongruous and hypocritical aspects of humanity and explore the relationships between the refined and the primitive, the physical and the spiritual, the influences of our collective past on present behaviour.
I studied painting both in the UK and Florence before moving into sculpture. I like the solid, tactile and definitive aspects of sculpture and have recently developed from working mainly in clay and bronze to carving in stone.
