Michael Topescu (b.1956) is a graduate of the University of Art Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His artistic activity covers a period of 35 years with a large number of solo and group exhibitions, symposiums, biennials, acquisitions in art museums, and also private collections, films, books, albums, international awards. The artist began with interests in glass as a material expression, followed by its relation with wood, stone and metal. "Art does not give answers, art asks questions" is the motto of this artist.
