Biography

Carlos de Jong is an Artist, Architect and Urban Planner, graduated with Honors in 1975.

As an artist, he has been developing his art production during the last nine years, independently of his professional work as an architect and planner, around the world.

His trips working in North Africa and the Middle East Region, especially during the periods working in the Persian Gulf nearly the Mesopotamia, awoke the creativity of the artist. He has been needed to search forms related with the genesis of the life and the evolution of the universe creation process and evolution.

In this way, from the beginning up to today, his works launched him to create abstract forms combined with nets and colors. The paints invite the spectator to play with the imagination, finding out several interpreting choices to be a part of ”The Apparitions”, in fact, the real sense of the art work.

Basically, we are in front of digital art. However, if the artist considers it appropriate, he introduces other mix of expressions to reach the best results on his work. During the last four years, he has developed his own digital art style named “Digital Mosaic”, also he uses handmade techniques along several art works.

In 2012, Carlos de Jong as an artist started his own professional art activity. During 2015 the Government of Mendoza - Argentina invited him to present “The Apparitions” Individual Exhibition of Digital Art in the Contemporary Art Space of the Ministry of Culture - ECA. With success de Jong presented 56 art works since April 24 to May 31.

Currently, he is launching his artwork from Mendoza Argentina, to worldwide potential collectors.
