Biography
I am a self-taught artist living and working in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I do enjoy working in all media but my favorite are acrylics and mixed media collage. I am interested in raw expression, in the interaction between emotion and color and how the emotion is conveyed to the viewer through different materials, colors, paints, the different tools’ strokes and embossing.
My restless mind continually challenges me to experiment with new media, methods, materials, tools and ideas. I find them everywhere, sometimes even in most unexpected places and all of a sudden. I often start my paintings without not even having a vague idea about what it will be like. Then something happens, my hands turn into mere tools, my mind proceeds to "nirvicharta", I can feel "purusha" detached from "prakriti" and here it is my work comes out.
