I was born in Cartagena, Colombia. I live in Mexico over 18 years ago. Industrial Engineering with Minor in Computer Science, specialization in Strategic Marketing, Master of Fine Arts. Currently, I attend the workshop of Maestro José Lazcarro Toquero. I felt drawn to art from a young age, but only until I moved to Mexico, I had the opportunity to receive an education in fine arts, which allowed me to develop my abilities of artistic expression, the way in which we currently do mainly through painting, photography, interventions and installations. My work is characterized by bright colors, simple textures and space for imagination ... the simplicity of daily life and the role of what surrounds us, is highlighted in each piece, with the same force that exists ... My most recent work is based on the interpretation of designs own indigenous Wayuu culture (indigenous ethnic group of northern Colombia) used in the preparation of their tissues. My father worked and lived for many years with them, going into their customs and their culture, defending their rights and promoting their values, so that printed an indelible mark on my heart, which is why I have proposed transcend purpose of my father, extending his work through my artistic expression driven by that feeling of admiration and respect for the Wayuu culture he taught me.
