Biography
Fabio Ranzolin's research is about privacy issues and about the fragile condition of life. The artist's work reflects upon ordinary themes related to individual or collective memories. He focuses on identity, family and social roles, personal relationships and diseases of human kind. Fabio Ranzolin uses documents, photos and found object for their emotional, historical and personal meaning. His installations are mostly based on autobiographical events and they often involve in person the audience. On one side the final work is elegant and delicate, on the other side it is playful, self-mocking and with the acrid taste.
