Biography
Adea is New York based and living in an artist collective on Long Island with her cat. She has sold internationally and displayed her work in galleries across the US. Her work is dedicated towards communicating inner realities and points to genuine emotions. Her emergence onto the New York art scene happened in February of 2016 after she received her BA in Religious studies. Her bodies of work play between classical romantic oil paintings and modern mixed medias. Adea has traveled the world studying art. In Nepal she learned traditional Buddhist artwork from a Tibetan refugee, in Paris she studied in the streets and famous museums delving into the world of impressionism. She's traveled to London and spent days upon days in the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, to Amsterdam to be enveloped by modern art movements and of course, in her home state of New York, she frequents lectures, museums and workshops.
