Biography

Thanks to photography, I found a way to express myself. I narrate what I see and what I like. I prefer bright colours, neat, essential lines, perfect symmetries, distant from everyday chaos. I’ve always been fond of art and especially design. I soon realized that the research of graphic signs is quite recurring in my vision. Just like a score, they have their own rhythm and sound: the sound of fairly anonymous places of transit we usually don’t pay attention to.
I’ve got a twofold soul. In addition to my formal research, I collect memories and tell stories. I think that photos are more than pieces of printed paper or digital files on a computer screen: they are the memory of what we were and how we felt. I love to capture shades and nuances that other people would consider unremarkable or wouldn’t notice at all. I try to turn ordinary details into something interesting. I’d like my photos to reflect and reveal me; in other words, I’d like them to speak about my inner world, to be the silent language of my soul.
