Biography
Sauro Marzioli, born in 1977 in Ancona, Italy, works in the glass industry since 1992.
He explores the art of glassmaking in about twenty years of hard work in testing, specialized courses and techniques on manual processing for fire and melting decorations. Glass is a fascinating material on which to play and which Sauro can give surprising shapes, colors, shadows, light and sound. His works are mainly made with scraps of glass, all recovered and recycled, selected on his imagination and experience, each piece becomes an integral part of his works, every scratch or imperfection found or made specifically makes his paintings / sculptures live, to touch.
During the live performance he creates glassy works, assembling the various splinters selected with a special glue that solidifies thanks to ultra violet rays.
In 2011 he founded the art project Crash Glass.
