Biography
I was born in San Jose and lives in Grecia, Costa Rica. I studied Advertising Design at the
College of Fine Arts at the Autonomous University of Central America in San José, Costa Rica . As well as
painting and printmaking in studios of national artists .
My work has transitioned from figurative realism to abstract expression, with the central theme of human
experience - of feelings, everyday events and transcendental being. My drawings, paintings and printmaking
are primarily in acrylics, watercolors and digital photography.
I am active member of the Costa Rica Association of Visual Artists (ACAV), Magda has participated in many
national and international collectives, art fairs, art contests, and exhibitions in universities, cultural centers,
museums and public and private institutions.
