Biography

Luca Di Terlizzi was born in Tivoli, Rome, on April 17th 1998. He lives in Guidonia Montecelio.
Already linked to the drawing since early childhood, he continues his studies at the Art School in Tivoli.
Being very passionate about art, he works as a self-taught. Since the first years of painting he has experienced mixed techniques and the use of mixed materials.
Following his passion, he realized that oil paint and acrylic paint didn't satisfy him at all, so he began employing materials such as sand, dust and sawdust. He frequently uses newspapers, magazines and road posters too, gluing them to form abstract surfaces with a sense of chaos and breakage. He has held some exhibitions at the Giuseppetti theatre, in Tivoli, taking part to various competitions and he exhibited in a group show in Flyer artgallery of Rome.
His work explores human nature, highlighting its worst part.
It deals with the themes of war, of darkness, of human values, modern society and its negative sides, bringing to light the dark parts of history.
However, the hope deriving from the small details left in his works is not negligible.
In a few words, his art mixes a fried mixture of smells, tastes, feelings and visions related to the reality in which all we live.
