Biography
Francesca Maria Cabrini was born in Milan on 23 April 1988. She attended an Artistic High School in Milan and, having passed the final exams, in 2007 she started to attend the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where she studied Sculpture under the guidance of Paolo Gallerani.
During her BA Gallerani asked her to participating in many workshops. In 2008 in May she went to Delfi (Greece), where she worked on personal projects in close interaction with a group of Greek students. In 2009 in December she went to London to work on her personal artistic research. In 2010 in May she was invited to Grancona (Vicenza) to a symposium on the production of stone in Venice.
Meanwhile Francesca has been working as an interior decorator in private households.
At the end of 2010, having finished her BA, she started a MA Sculpture at the same academy of Fine Arts. She participated at the Public Art workshop "Real Space" in Milan, organised by professor Vittorio Corsini and the architect Romolo Ottaviani. She graduated in April 2013 with the highest mark possible (110/110 cum laude).
Francesca currently collaborates with a communication agency in the team responsible for public relations and organisation of events, and works as a freelance illustrator for graphic designer studios.
At the same time, with passion and enthusiasm she keeps developing her artistic research, writing projects, participating in art competitions and collective exhibitions.
