Did you mean: Superpippo (Super Goof) è il supereroe nel quale si trasforma Pippo dopo aver mangiato un particolare tipo di nocciolina americana, spesso detta spagnoletta. Come si capisce dal nome e dalle caratteristiche, Superpippo è ispirato a Superman. La Western, la casa editrice che a quel tempo deteneva i diritti di pubblicazione dei molti personaggi disneyani, era solita realizzare albi stagionali o uscite speciali di quelli regolari, spesso dedicati a particolari personaggi. La serie si avvale, tra gli altri, del fondamentale apporto grafico di Paul Murry, uno dei più importanti autori del Topolino dei comic book. Questi avrà l'onore, sul secondo numero di Phantom Blot (febbraio 1965), di creare, su testi di Del Connell, il prototipo per Superpippo. Ne L'Ultra Pippo contro Macchia Nera (prima pubblicazione italiana su Topolino n.515 del 10 ottobre 1965), infatti, Archimede inventa un nuovo propellente, che dovrebbe dare maggiore potenza ai tradizionali motori a benzina. Accidentalmente Pippo ne trangugia alcune gocce e da quel momento in poi crede di essere invincibile, lanciandosi così a testa bassa in una sfida con Macchia Nera, evaso per l'ennesima volta e rifugiatosi in un villaggio del west. Pippo decide di farsi anche un costume, così si infila un pigiamino con una S di sopra (una G in originale) e si attacca alle spalle un mantello ricavato da un sacco di patate. Curiosamente, mentre negli Stati Uniti il personaggio già viene chiamato Super Goof, in Italia si opta per Ultra Pippo, essendo quasi sconosciuta la parola "super".
