Biography
Katia Ricci Regusci, 1971, emerging artist, lives with her family in the Italian Switzerland. Since she was a child she loved drawing and painting and she dreamed to be able to convey emotions on canvas. Since 2005 she started to be absorbed in the world of painting and, work after work, she has seen a remarkable progress transformed into success confirmed during her exhibitions. Gratifications that gave her the courage to go on and believe in what she was doing.
Unconsciously, in her works she speaks of herself, she paints following the inspiration in putting colour on canvas and works above all with her hands, creating those depths, those relieves, those lights…that give then a magic effect to her works. She improvises, but she keeps colour under control, according to her mood and creative instinct. Each of her works lives of its own light, the interpretation is unique and also the work user perceives own sensations and different messages every time. Each work is a never-ending narration.
