Biography
I was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1947 and immigrated to Australia in 1988 where I took up a formal photography and art education in Melbourne and Sydney, graduating with a Master of Visual Arts from the Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney in 2000.
I now work as a photo media artist in Sydney, travelling frequently between Australia and Europe and exhibiting in many solo and group shows in Australia and internationally.
With my work I examine photography’s relationship to memory, fantasy, identity, urban living. My practice ranges from urban landscapes to table top tableaux.
