Biography
I was born in South Africa in 1969 and have seen this country go through many changes. This I believe has influenced the way I view personal and collective human interaction.
I am drawn to subject matter that carries a certain meditative quality and consider my images as free visceral verse written in colour and tone with no prescribed up or down. With these images I communicate that there is more than one side to every story and one's perspecitve changes depending on how you view it.
The pixelated effect in some of my images begs the viewer to consider the crucial part they play in the indentity of society as a whole whilst maintaining their individuality
As an artist it is of paramount importance to me to keep an open mind and constantly push myself to think outside the box.
