"My creations are an admission of what i understand about art, myself, and the world. My work, abstract or representational, is simply shapes that fill space and create a composition, which, from work to work, reflect a sacred geometry, some stronger than others. Color theory and subject are of course important, but to me this sacred filling of space with form and movement of energy and the captured essence of existence is what matters most. Movement, movement, movement, simple and honest movement, regardless of the surrounding chaos, an artists mind must be the eye of the storm. A bare bones process of motion and emotion, nothing less, nothing more, only what is needed. To paint what and who one is, is truth. To seek awareness from within and without and to capture what truth may be laid bare with the movement of the body and brush. Truth resides in all things, especially the body, which manifests from the mind, and thus the void of our underlying reality. The process of this quest is all that matters, and beauty will follow."
