STATEMENT
My primary desire is to encourage a fluid discourse between a work's latent intent, and the viewers perceptions, resulting in a contemplative dialog beyond the picture plane.
Seeking the essence of each new work, a process of "pre-visualization" occurs. Ideas, reactions, perceptions and influences are continually refined to illuminate an emotive resonance.
This intensive melding of physical and subconscious energies forms a "graphic shorthand" of harmonic coloration, and proportional balance so that.... Lines, Shapes, and Colors, can be felt as much as seen.
For more than 35 years, RICH MOYERS has been successfully creating engaging artworks with thoughtful, energetic, and emotionally stimulating content using his natural affinity for proportional harmony and exceptional color balance.
