Biography
I am an Italian artist living and working in Palermo (Sicily). In different ways and by various means, my works re-tell old legends, or portray fragments of the beauty of Nature. In fact, Myth and Nature are my main inspirations, and I try to re-interpret them in my pieces, by combining different materials and techniques into a structural hybridity. Even when I use more traditional media such as oil painting on wood, the figurative subject is always an opportunity to create works which express something more. My aim is to suggest a different space, that always lies in balance between a form’s perfection (stillness) and its double, namely its decay (or transformation), which pervades every single moment of our lives.
