Biography

CLAUDIO ROJAS (b. 1978, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Latin-American expressionist painter, discipule of Master Edmund Valladares. His oil paintings and collages are cubist based and rooted on Goya's expressionism and Kandinsky's abstract energy of colour. Claudio Rojas is an active artist that through his art creates consciousness and makes a strong social impact by giving voice to the marginalized people. "Painting has stop being an aesthetic matter to turn into a rational expression, that passes first for the artist's guts, rises then to the head and reveals through his hands" Rojas has has exhibited in Argentina, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. He is currently living and working in Barcelona, Spain.
