Biography
Diêgo Oli is a Brazilian artist interested in assessing male universe's issues. His work mainly focuses on the representation of man's figure, more precisely on portraits. The young artist has an intetesting evolution: born in the state of Ceará, Diêgo decides to read for a degree in Visual Arts at the Regional University of Cariri-URCA (2009), where he starts his first photography experiments, after which he cures the project Cinema Imóvel (2011) on imaginary film posters. During his degree course he moves to Bologna University, Italy (2012-2013), for an exchange project. This experience will have a strong impact on his works. His pictures always strongly idyllic, shows clearly the signs that proves important changes in his way of being a contemporary man and they reveal autobiagraphic elements.
