Biography

The artist starts from the premise that many of the dynamics proposed in the Futurist Manifesto in the first years of the twentieth century, actually have been materialized in the hyper-technological society of 2000, and, through its research, analyze their consequences.
The language of Rossini become therefore a language made up of tensions and contrasts between the materials, often naturals, in which identifies the being "primordial" and cultural of the Men, and the iron, in which identifies the fundamental key to a critical analysis of technological development, seen as
hectic and alienating.
The works of the young artist become out-and-out battles between the "animus" of the Men and the
progressist destructive tendencies that characterize the post-modern society.
These clashes land inevitably to the "poetics of rust", seen as the patina of age, that is like a cancer that has, as its ultimate goal, the reaffirmation of the natural cycle of things.
The current artistic work of Nicola Rossini wish therefore to seek a communicative language able to express the conflict between the two aspects of contemporary of the Men, denouncing the alienation of modernity.
