Biography

Simone Padelli (1986) is an Italian professional photographer and artist.
He currently works as a freelance in Florence mostly in the fields of fashion photography, still life, and architectural photography.
In October 2013 he set up a co-working studio located in the district of San Frediano in Florence. As a professional studio composed of several figures, it entails the use of multimedia ranging from photography and video to graphic design. It is a place where every component, while autonomous in their work,
interweaves their relationships to create a synergy both professional and artistic.
Beside his professional works, Simone studied fine art photography first at the “Liberal Academy of Fine Arts” in Florence, then at the “London College of Communication” in London.
Simone’s photographic practice is concerned around the intimate relationship between environments and people. His work is closely linked with the concept of sublime and melancholy, isolation and weirdness. Simone’s approach sits in between street photography and staged photography; he use environments and landscapes to investigate the weirdness of the human condition, the fragility and the isolation among people. Through his
photographs, Simone aims to draw a sense of weirdness, questioning about what reality is, and how it can be seen and perceived.
