Biography
Mimmi Moretti, whose real first name is Dominic, was born in Catania in 1966 and after only one year he moved to Paris with his family. He started taking photographs since childhood with the Kodak Instamatic and Agfamatic.
Thanks to Uncle become familiar since it was a young man with the dark room while his cousin bought his first camera, a Minolta X700 SLR. At the age of 20 years working as a freelance for magazines. During that time enjoys experimenting with equipment and photograph of different sizes (6×6, Polaroid, Minox). A few years later his career is directed towards e-business and new media.
At the end of the 90s again finds interest in photography and begins to experience the first solutions offered by digital (Canon ION, Kodak DC) whose final transition came in 2002 with the purchase of a Nikon D100.
Since then, never misses an opportunity to photograph and develop projects.
