Biography
These works focus on the appropriation and abstraction of obscured portraits from the Google Street View camera. The portraits are then processed through a half digital, half analog means of printing, using self-built electronic mechanisms for further abstracting (with a digital aesthetic) during the traditional black and white printing process.
Generally, my photographic work revolves around experimentation with the conditions of the production process, and how the photos are then utilized and integrated into a sculptural context.
