Biography
Through observation Annie Jones’ work investigates the relationship between degeneration, deterioration and the sustainability of growth through experimentation with the inherent qualities of ceramic materials. Jones records the reactions produced by a concoction of chemical composites, which inflict fragility upon her chosen materials. The recording of phenomena through unconventional mixtures of supplements combined with clay bodies; show the transition of the material through its metamorphic stages in its enclosed environment.
