Biography
Born in Rome in 1957, lives and works in Pescara. His works range from architectural, interior and industrial design, to graphic design and painting.
After studying art, Rossano began studying architecture and at the same time he made his first projects of architectural and interior design, he was strongly influenced by a meeting with the Maestro Carlo Scarpa. Pursuant to a suggestion made by his friend Andrea Pazienza, he began to devote himself to the illustrations and the work of a freelancer for various agencies. In 1981 Rossano opened the studio Morra Art & Design. All graphic work created for his customers has always been influenced by his artistic work and considered not to be plain advertising, but to be a work of art.
His artistic activity has been hampered by work of his studio and its strong involvement in two important international cultural associations. In 2009, after he left all his posts, he fully resumed his artistic career recovering and organizing all his work.
His ongoing research aims to study the forms related to the colors as visual entropy. Several works go beyond painting and become reliquaries, inoperative "Useful Machines", metaphors that recall the pataphysics.
He has exhibited in: China (one of his works was acquired by Sunshine International Museum of Beijing), France, Denmark, Holland, Portugal, Slovakia, Canada and in many Italian cities.
