Biography

Artist Statement:
My paintings are my response to people around me, their presence and behavior. They are visions that turn painterly. I want them to carry the mark of emotions I see and I feel. I struggle to let my craft ride my emotions in unison rather than submission. When I meet different people I like to observe them, the way they eat, the way they talk and how they dress. I like to paint the fleeting fragments of reality. Madness and strangeness inspire me. I paint humans who inspire me or disturbed me the most. I like to ponder over human situation and bring the weird and the strange from margins to the center through my work. My paintings are re- visions of life observed.
