Organize, in line with the objectives defined in the statute of the institution nonprofit, art exhibitions, awards, competitions and cultural events aimed at painters, graphic artists, photographers, sculptors ... Chaired by journalist and art critic Fortunato Orazio Signorello, the institution develops, supports and coordinates initiatives related also to promote the artistic youth. In the context of a process of diversification of its activities, organizes art exhibitions, conferences and other events aimed at the dissemination and understanding of contemporary art. Established to reward annually historical artists and young talent on the European scene, the Prize Sikelia. Organize the Triennial of Contemporary Art, the Biennale Italian visual art, the Prize Candrilli and Exhibition Italian of visual art, as well as the Award of visual art "SiciliArte" and the Prize of Contemporary Art "City of Catania" .
