Biography
My art is stimulated by art history, archeology, and contemporary artistic practices. I take inspiration from architecture, emotions, and relationships. In my art I explore ideas and themes of learning, new cultures, histories and mythologies. My creative practice allows me to investigate how all these disparate elements can be combined and connected. In addition to studying and incorporating art historical and cultural aspects, I am also interested in theoretical and conceptual exercises in art. I work on creating pieces that deconstruct the line between sculpture and painting, the Gothic and Classical, and formal and representational.
