Biography
The research starts from an inner vision.
It has developed through dreams and hallucinations, schizophrenic imaginaries, resulting in destruction and reassemble of life boxes. The first works look out onto a hallucinating world where time is lacerated, dilated, and space gets defined and gives its limits to the surrounding frame.
These works are living paintings, where the decadent and abandoned body is the main and swollen subject, almost Flemish. The last works are developed within the domestic perimeter, in the childhood house. There I buried and split the idea of death and metamorphosis.
The research on mental physical illnesses, on interior landscapes, has always been the hinging point of my work.
