The fantastic ( unusual) , dominated by an agreeable dreaminess , a surrealism leaded by gentle spirits, with generous, expressive variety of colors forms the first impression after a contact with the works of Iurie Nastas. The compositional favorite artist’s square makes us to think that the structural author’s logic is based on solidity of architectural laws. The painter is aspiring after animating the surface of this rigid space which is the square. The pictorial space is fascinating by symphonic choeds. The comparasion with music is proved also by relation between angular and spherical shapes, but more by harmony of colors, composed in real vibrating sonnets. The artist uses two opposite scales – warm and cold, accompanied by stumping nuances. These personal virtues are based on character of Iurie Nastas which is open, a little innocent; that is why the author is able to pick up from around the fresh, unspoiled impressions.
