Biography
ARTIS INFORMATIONS :Germana Brizio was born in 1953 ; she graduated at ‘’Accademia di Belle Arti’’, Rome- painting department of Prof. Brunori. She had her first solo exhibition in 1978 at ‘’Studio d’Arte S.Erasmo’’, Santeramo (Bari) Italy. She is accredited conservator-restore at “ Soprintendenza Beni Artistici e Storici Lazio”, she restored frescoes, drawings wash, murals and oil paintings on canvas. Her works exposed in national and international public and private collections, among which the most relevant paintings are located on the façade of S.Ignazio’s churc in Rome and the oil paintings on canvas “Pala d’Altare” at Mater Penitentia’s churh in Tirana, Albania. Her worhs are reviewed on several specialized art catalogues, like on the Enciclopedia Arte Italiana Contemporanea (vol. IX) Casa Editrice, La Ginestra 1979, and on the yearbook of Art Diar in 1991.
