BIOGRAPHY
Marcia Freedman is a Detroit area artist who maintains a studio in the Pioneer Building. She graduated with an MFA from Wayne State University in 1992.

All of her investigations have centered on using nature and the figure as a vehicle to describe the fluidity of life. Freedman fractures and reconfigures images found in the body to form abstractions that are based on the constant inquiry into the reality of life experience.
