Biography

Born in Oristano, Italy, in 1986, he lives and works in Berlin.
In 2010 he graduated from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in London, after studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and the Manchester Metropolitan University. Since then he has participated in various solo and group shows in Italy and abroad at public institutions and private galleries. A leading actor in his work, he addresses the history of performance with particular emphasis on the language developed by certain feminist artists, tackling pressing issues of the queer and LGBT community and subjects on the cutting edge of contemporary European geography and politics.
In 2013, he won Combat Prize (Livorno) as best artist under 35 and he was selected finalist at Premio Celeste (PAN, Naples) and Premio Francesco Fabbri (Treviso).
Thanks to the award received from Combat Prize, he was artist in residency at GlogauAIR, Berlin.
