Biography

Self-taught painter ... if you allow me introduce myself:
my name is GIANFRANCO FEDELI ( in English FAITHFUL) and I was born in Sant 'Oreste, town in the province of Rome, on the slopes of Mount Soracte, August 26, 1950. I live in Rome since I was seven years old and I graduated in accounting with a specialization in computer science (at the end of the sixties were the first to experience this new type of address technical). Since I graduated I have always worked with computers. My artistic training is self-study. During my working life I studied art history and most of all I am interested in the artistic revolution that was made by those painters called "impressionist" and those who followed them immediately
after, namely, the "post-impressionists". Then I became interested in avant-garde all those who are born at the beginning of the '900 and that continued throughout the century, always developing new trends with more and more advanced techniques and materials always using the most modern and diverse, the avant-garde I was most impressed and that fascinates me most is that of the "German expressionists." Even I, in my small way, I try to experiment with new techniques and trends, and my painting is made R03;R03;of "issues" and in all of them try to use different techniques and materials. I attended a course in ceramics and for three years I have attended courses in graphics (chalcography) directed by prof. Ernesto Brolli. Now that I'm retired I'd like to introduce my art to have a criticism by those people who are interested in it. I'd love to get in touch with other artists who are in the same situation and also more or less established artists who are interested in exchanges of views on painting and the techniques they use.
