Biography
Sandra Deiana (in art SandraDNArt) born in Cagliari in 1990. Shows great artistic ability since childhood, participating in numerous art competitions and always finishing near the top. During primary school, she was noticed by one of her teachers, who introduced her to the art world and to the music and singing. After completing her basic studies, she enrolled at the Art School of Cagliari, where in 2007 she graduated with honors. At the same time in high school she began studying singing and piano, taking private lessons. Later she moved to Rome, where she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, originally being set design, which she attended for a few years and then devote herself entirely to painting, which currently continues to carry on, even on commission.
The technique. Only in recent years she devoted herself almost entirely to the technique of oil, undoubtedly the most preferred by the artist. The subjects vary, mainly dedicated to the research of the performance of city scenes, she prefers the countries of northern Europe, but also loves playing the views offered by the city where she lives since 5 years, Rome. Recreates and reinterprets especially artificial light, capturing on canvas through the study of color and stain, frames of roads, views, decks, but also other entities such as animals, people. Her current work includes: oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, speed painting. For years pursuing a concept expressed in a phrase such as: - Light defines space, time and thought, characterizes the work in its essence and simplicity / complexity of forms.
