Biography
Born in Nuoro in 1954, lives in France until his entire adolescence, then London, Usa, Japan where his actions, performances, videos, installations, site specific and critical-gestures have had considerable resonance as a direct exposure and living testimony of the aesthetic concept of surrational that since 1973 sees Paolo Navale artist as the one, true, originator. The school of thought that ensues, manifests it-self, today more than ever, in the current and avant-garde disciplines of art, as well as in others disciplines such as theosophy, or even the logic and the study of art in the most advanced experimental techniques. This, not only in relation to the union and correspondence between art and science, but also between being and not-being and, as in this book, the quasi-symmetry, non-Euclidean geometry, the n-dimensionality, the concept of neutrality inherent to everything, and the polarization of zero (i.e. the conjunction of opposites), as well as the resulting conceptual aesthetics that are the outcome of the work of Paolo Navale only: typical of a supersensual reality, that is “surrational”: meaning that whilst overcoming the senses it exceed the raison without denying it.
