Biography

eLena boccoli is an Italian artist based in Rome.
Women with big eyes and big lives are her artistic addiction.
Her eclectic art works are done on wood, canvas and digital printing. Her most recent paintings highlight a shift to a more mature season, in which she confirms her ironic touch, at the same time opening to new experiments that lead to a further borderline mixing of art and illustration. It is no coincidence, then, that muses of this new cycle are women able to assert themselves on the stage of life with the consistency of a true principle of personality.
Today eLena boccoli exposes her art all over Italian galleries, such as Macro, Museo Canonica and Palazzo dei Congressi. She also collaborates with magazines as an illustrator and she has recently been rewarded with prizes such as "Gemine muse" and "Giovane eccellenza romana".
