Biography
Recycle is, for an artist, a natural evolution of her/his thinking. Being able to “see” beyond and over steady things shape is an innate,instict condition of whom looks for art and wants to create some.
Matter flows, fluid, from mind to hands; from thought to tangible…All matter, so, even scraps.
What was earlier intended for anything else, finds another image to offer…then one more… and more and again.
We’re living in the age of excess’s overflow. But, if Art is communication, artists can communicate that nothing must be considered nothing and all could turn into all again.
As a self-taught artist, I’ve always looked for things’s new image; so, destryed cabinets’s back or discarded wooden pieces become bases for my works; scraps of bamboo’s window shades, brass and iron filings, mirror tiles from the inside of 50’s dump cupboard, broken necklaces pearls and.. other stuff…. find their new image on them.
I’ve been reluctant and allergic to exhibit my art so far, but life evolves and so do I. Well, sooner or later, it comes the moment to start…
