Biography

Isabella Nazzarri born in Livorno on 1987. Lives and works in Milan.

On 2011 she gets a BA Degree in Painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Subsequently she attends a two-year period degree at Academy of Fine Arts in Brera.

On 2013 she takes part to “Last Young”, a collective show curated by Arianna Baldoni, Lorenzo Respi and Rossella Farinotti at Villa Brivio, Nova Milanese.

In the same year she takes part to the collective show “Panorama”, curated by Arianna Beretta at Circoloquadro, Milan.

Shortly after she wins the 2013 Griffin Prize,chaired by Ivan Quaroni and promoted by Windsor and Newton, Liquitex and Contè Paris.

She exposes in the collective show “Surfacing, works of emerging artist from Uk and Italy” ,curated by Rebecca Pelly Fry and Liane Lang at The Griffin Gallery, London.

On 2014 she takes part to the group “New Italian Painting” at Studio D’Arte Cannaviello. She exposes in a group show at Interno 18 Gallery, Cremona.

In the same year she participates at the collective public show “Nuova Pittura Italiana” at Spazio Soderini, promoted by the Province of Milan.

She takes part another time at “Sto Disegnando”, a project by Michael Rotondi, curated by Alex Urso at V9 Gallery, Varsaw.

In the same year she exposes in several international “New Italian Painting” collective shows, respectively at Fábrica Braço de Prata in Lisbon and at the Parabrod Cultural Centre, Belgrad.

Still in 2014 she partakes at the collective show “New Italian Painting” at Schultz Gallery,Berlin.

On 2015 is finalist of Combat Prize, Painting section, and takes part to the final exhibition at Museum G.Fattori, Livorno.
