Biography
I have been interested for years to issues related to urban aggregations space through abstraction processes in pictorial forms of imaginary cities seen from above in the belief that they can stimulate a global ethic through their own compositions of ideal cities.
In his youth, the great critic Italo Mussa had stimulated me to measure myself with large-scale works. I begin, then, to produce works with important dimensions and in 2004, edited by Pamela Cento, a personal realization with the title "ABSTRACTIONS URBAN"
......... Paintings by the great size that occur as aerial views, that make us float over imaginary cities, remembering and overcoming a tradition of painting born in the late nineteenth century, when France G. Caillebotte presented his painting "Boulevard seen from ' high "metaphor of flight and freedom ... .. (Pamela Cento)
Years later, quite by accident, I approached the world of technology and the Digital Painting.
This "discovery" he has immediately created a big draw, then led to a real obsession.
What struck me almost immediately, after a period of suspicion, was the great potential that the digital medium itself contained.
The use of brushes and palettes electronic gave me the chance to be replicating.
I soon realized that I could create new scenarios and that, starting from my painting experience, could lead to processes of manipulation where the breakdown in fluid subparts could take to develop creative processes much more complex coming perhaps, one day, be able to interact physically with the work accomplished.
I had imagined that, through the subject represented, you could enter into the labyrinth of the Synoptic dynamics of the individual parts of the composition as if they were the building blocks capable of self generated and regenerated.
Since then, it has been over a decade, there has been a constant search for the study that led to the creation of works related mainly to the world of dreams and music.
Currently are planned interaction experiences of my works through the use of Processing and Augmented Reality with contaminations are capable of intervening in sensor systems.
