Biography
Chiara comes into the world in the 70’s, amidst disco music, punk fashion, the conquest of the heavens by way of the space shuttles and concurrent with the birth of private radio and television in Italy. A decade of colorful and dynamic transition between the generation with roots in the second world war and that of the western overabundance of wealth and opportunity.
Having acquired a rational formation in accounting and a rigid maturity in jurisprudence, Chiara finds personal realization in the artistic craft, in the creation and reinterpretation of everyday surroundings, making use of useful tools and discarded accessories, of variable textures and homogeneous dimensions, vivid colors and affine amalgamability.
Attributing a second life to that which has exhausted the role for which has rendered it necessary, useful, designed to serve a particular need: an intriguing game of constant creativity that tantalizes and tickles the senses in an eternal and tireless interpretative luxuriance.
An artistic utilitarianism, branded with the 21st century: evolution and sublimation of an aesthetic sensibility that, in the exaltation of color, guides one towards a surprising synergy created between objects belonging to the sphere of everyday life, but inserted into a radically new context with which to interact!
Where fantasy is incapable of being present, experience takes over: life, a constant and demanding teacher, who knows how to be extraordinarily surprising, but also existentially brutal. Often, it is precisely this second aspect which proves to be the most instructive... Just as health conditioned my expectations for several years, the restitution of my life could not but deepen the artistic motivation that dwelled within: the word “end” is banned! Everyone (and everything!) can and most obtain a second chance!
