Biography
Alessandra Minotti born in Rome, Italy.
Professional photographer, visual artist, developer and experienced printer. After artistic and photographic studies,
I began my professional activity in 1994, taking over a photographic laboratory in Rome, where I created wedding photographic services, still-life, interiors, fashion and a lot of development and analogue printing. Since 2010 I have strengthened my already creative style, both in commissioned works and in personal projects, with shots with a complex compositional structure, where one always has the impression of perceiving movement, I also shoot a lot in multiple exposure, creating surreal works. I continually experiment with analogue and digital development techniques, with digital painting and professional photo retouching, and fine art giclée printing. I have exhibited my works in collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad, in particular in Spain where I lived and worked from 2013 to 2021. In my works there are autobiographical details, I also address themes such as identity, violence against women, human rights, psychophysical well-being, healthy eating, places and the environment. I have published a monograph and an ebook, and my works have been published in art magazines, books and exhibited on screen at the SaatchiGallery in London for six years.
