Biography
Through my art, I hope to initiate a refreshing experience by stimulating contemplation and escapism in a viewer. Each of my works is conceived as a puzzle segment that provides a glimpse of a pictorial consequence. At first glance, depictions of environments are inviting and free to inhabit. However, upon closer observation a potentially dangerous new reality, spurred by form and ambiguity, comes into focus.
Subsequently, a viewer will find that my work comments on current social and environmental issues while revealing how I see the world around me – interconnected and constantly shifting between the familiar and unfamiliar.
