Biography
Giada Bagni was born in Grosseto on the 2nd March 1984. Since she was young she was very interested in Arts and Drawing. In her early age she preferred Japanese Manga and she studied them in their graphic aspect. She studied in a Grapich designer High School and during her studies she became very fond of photography. After graduating, in order to master Arts, she decided to attend the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia delle Belle Arti) in Florence. Anyway these type of studies didn’t fit her true aspirations so she decided to attend a University course at the University of Architecture in Florence for Graphics and Photography in Fashion. It’s there that she had the chance to improve her photography technique and her knowledge about the history of photography. Since then she has always been inspired by the great masters of this Art such as Man Ray, Mapplethorpe, Lachapelle and mainly Francesca Woodman, her true muse. Giada’s main interest is to convey emotions and to achieve this purpose together with photography she uses a lot of different materials may them be paper, colours, poetry or thoughts. Giada lives and works in the main city of Maremma, Grosseto, where she collaborates with different photo studios.
